Thomas Friedman, a highly regarded columnist, has an article in today's K. C. Star that got my attention on above subject. He states: ". . . renewable energy technologies . . . . are going to constitute the next great global industry. They will rival and probably surpass . . . . information technology. The country that spawns the most (energy technology) companies will enjoy more economic power, strategic advantage and rising standards of living."
