Presidential Candidates Debate

A very interesting debate last night, with all of the leading republican and democratic
candidates. Charles Gibson of ABC, as the chief moderator, came up with a much better format than has been used in previous debates. The candidates were seated and there was better interplay among the candidates. Although it was the republicans for the first two hours and the democrats for the second two hours, in between, all of the candidates were together, exchanging greetings and hugs. Besides allowing the viewers to get better acquainted with the candidates and their stands on the issues , the gathering was great for creating an atmosphere of harmony, and a reminder that we are all in this together in our great democracy.

My prediction: John McCain will be the republican nominee. In my opinion he is the best qualified for the job. And I think the majority of the republicans will conclude that he is their best hope for winning in the general election.
