Is it a Sin to CHANGE YOUR MIND ?

Romney and other presidential candidates have been severely criticized for
changing their minds about various issues. Is that bad? It is if one changes his view, contrary to his own views, just to pick up votes. On the other hand, I wouldn't favor an office holder or candidate who would never change his mind, regardless of the change in conditions and circumstances. I know I have changed my views on capital punishment and abortion within the last few years. So if a candidate has changed his view, you need to look at all the circumstances as to whether it is to be considered good or bad. It is certainly not bad per se. I cringe when I hear a candidate state that he will NEVER change social security or will never raise taxes.
If President Bush had admitted his mistakes and had changed some of his policies, maybe people now wouldn't be clamoring for change in the administrtion.
