Democracy in Action

It seems like a strange way to select a president of the most powerful nation in the world: who can raise the most money--spending millions for pointless TV commercials--the candidates attacking one another on petty matters--avoiding the real issues for fear of offending some group. However, it's a better way than determining who has control of a country by factions shooting at one another--like in many of the nations of the world.

Anyhow, don't forget to watch the republican and democratic candidates tonight on ABC from 6 to 10 pm. It's supposed to be on the issues. Just maybe, we might hear something a little different.

My prediction: If Obama wins in NH, he is the next president of the Uniited States.
