Hippety-hop
At my Red Bridge United Methodist Church. many members have wished for a more "blended" service. Well, we got it this Sunday. Can you imagine our minister Rusty Maggard hippety-hopping all the way down the central aisle of the church in full view of all in attendence? Yes, it happened as part of the Children's Moments, and he was followed in this daring exhibition by the some 20 children he was addressing. They were playing the game Follow the Leader. But there was a very valid purpose behind this historical event.
The children were taught that they should follow Jesus, just like they were following their leader in this game.
This should help silence the blenders in the congregation.LSmith6100@kc.rr.com
