This is the title of a small book on education reform that I learned of this morning from the editorial page of the Star. Timely news, since our Philosophy Class meets at 4 today, and we will be discussing education. Winston Apple, retired teacher from the Kansas City School District, is the author. Among his proposals is doing away with school districts and letting the schools govern themselves independently.
