What does Obama have in common with Lincoln and with Roosevelt? Apparently Obama is finding guidance from Lincoln in appointing to key posts rivals in the same party and members of the opposition party. Like Roosevelt, Obama is coming into office in the midst of an economic crisis, and is benefiting from knowledge of the rescue methods of FDR. Obama, like Roosevelt, plans to put people to work on worthwhile public projects, including the development of renewable energies.
