Yellow Jackets

I am all for the Yellow Jackets when they are playing as members of the Center High School basketball, football, or tennis team, but not when they are playing and buzzing around in the front of my house. A worker discovered a hive of them under our picture window at the front of our house.
I am having them eradicated by a professional at great expense. Yellow jackets start as a single queen in the Spring. Their hive can double in size every 10-14 days. In the Fall the hives can contain as many as 10 to 50 thousand yellow jackets. They are very aggressive and can get into your house and cause damage. They say that spraying does not get rid of them The yellow jacket is a small wasp. It's closest relatives are the lovely hornets.
