There are lots of complaints concerning getting technical support for our many electronic gadgets: esp. long delays, and difficulty in understanding. But what would we do without these technicians, scattered all over the world, working anonymously, at all hours of the day and night?
I would particularly like to cite for excellence one of your technicians, working some place in India, that I worked with late last night under your case number 800 885 8508. I was not able to get on the internet with my HP Pavilion with Windows Vista. Calls to my internet access provider proved fruitless. But your technician, whom I will designate Mr. Anonymous 2008, after trying many different procedures, and actualy working my computer, solved the problem by re-setting my Internet Explorer settings. Such patience he had during this long period of my trying to follow his instructions.! And when it appeared he was through, he took it upon himself to check many other things to be sure everything was OK. I asked him how I could ever thank him enough. He replied that his reward was a smile on my face and the satisfaction of being of help. So here's to Mr. Anonymous 2008 and to all the other anonymous technicians throughout the world that help keep our equipment operating.
