Keeping Warm in Bed
I have trouble keeping my feet warm while in bed these cold nights. Socks are not enough. I had been using ordinary blankets, which were too short for my extra-long bed. I decided to bring out my electric blanket, also too short, which I hadn't used for over a year. Lo and behold, the power wouldn't go on. I found my original sales ticket and found there was a 5 year warranty, expiring 9-19-08. I called Perfect Fit Industries, the servicing company. They thought the problem was probably the transformer and said they would send me a new one. In the meantime, I was looking on the internet and found a bed warmer, that you lie on top of, just the right size for my bed. I ordered it. Last Monday I received both the part for the electric blanket, and the new bed warmer. Guess what? Neither would work properly. Now I have each in a box by the door, ready to be picked up by FedEx for return. So you see, although there are advantages, there are also disadvantages, in being tall. If I found the right wool blankets, I think I would forget the electrical power.
