Evert Asjes III, former member of the City Council, and civic leader, recently resigned as Treasurer of Mayor Funkhouser's Campaign contributions fund. The reason: The mayor did not advise him of payments from the funds to the mayor's wife for legitimate public relations expense. What a shame! This is a good example of how failure to communicate can have disastrous consequences. I feel that there are many instances of where failure to sufficiently communicate with those you work with has resulted in unnecessary bad consequencess. And in this age, communication with others can be so easy.
