Deep Belly Breathing

Most people don't take in nearly enough oxygen in their breathing--because of upper chest breathing instead of deep belly breathing. To practice and develop deep belly breathing: stand up; blow out through your mouth--FULLY exhaling--pretending you are trying to blow out 25 birthday cake candles. Then you will be forced to PUSH OUT your belly as you inhale, taking in the deepest breath that you can.
If you should like to learn more about the importance of getting more oxygen, proper breathing and other keys to better speech,. I will be happy to loan you a copy of my essay entitled "Beer Nuts and Pretzels."
