The Thomas Construction Dynasty

Last Friday Paul and Brian Thomas (pictured at the left) d/b/a Thomas Brothers Construction, Shawnee, Kansas , put in a new patio for Jan and me at the back of our home. They were highly recommended to us by their uncle, my very good friend Gene (pictured at the right). Gene said they were THE BEST. Gene was absolutely right. They did a fantastic job. And I was very impressed by their work ethic and efficiency . I have never witnessed a more orderly and harmonious work performance. Fast and efficient and all business, yet always happy and accommodating. And, most important, they take great pride in their work.
Paul and Brian are continuing what I call The Thomas Construction Dynasty. Their father Bob Thomas started a construction business with a cousin in 1953. Bob was joined by Gene, his brother, in 1961. Gene got into the construction business on his own in 1965 and continued until his retirement in 1990. Paul and Brian had joined with Gene, but have long been on their own, carrying out the great Thomas tradition of excellence in construction.
Incidentally, the above picture of Gene is unauthorized. He is actually a very handsome and regular guy.
