State Quarters

Encouraged by the coin guru Paul Whitmer, I am collecting State quarters. I now have quarters of 45 of the 50 States. Those I do not have are: AL, AK, CO, FL and HI. I am offering a reward to the person first supplying me with any of the 5. Send me the quarter and I'll give you a reward of one dollar. I will send you $1.67 to cover the reward, postage and cost of the quarter. You can learn all about the State Quarters program and learn about each State's insignia by going to www.usmint.gov, clicking coins and medals, and then clicking 50 State Quarters Program. I find it very interesting to read about a State's insignia. For instance, the WY quarter features a bucking horse and rider with the inscription "The Equality State." The horse and rider symbolize WY's Wild West heritage. WY is nicknamed the Equality State because of its historical role in establishing equal voting rights for women. It was the first State in the Union to allow women to vote, serve on juries and hold public office.
