Jason Holsman

In connection with my study of our energy crisis and what to do do about it, I have discovered that one of our governmental leaders in the field of developing new sources of clean energy is my own state representative in the Missouri General Assembly, Jason Holsman. Last Fall Jason and seven others made an intensive study of alternative energy in Israel. I was wondering, why Israel? Then I found out that Israel is a leader in the field and is now in the preliminary stage of building the world's largest solar power plant. It appears we can learn much from Israel. It is an awesome task to determine what course this country should take in the development of energy sources so that this country can be self-sufficient, while reducing the dangerous emissions and environmental damage associated with fossil fuels. And it is perhaps a more awesome task of getting a good plan adopted through our democratic process. We desparately need the leadership of Jason and others like him, at the federal as well as the state level, working on strictly a non-partisan basis, if we are to succeed.
