I heartily support Al Gore's challenge to the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable energy within 10 years. It may take more than 10 years, but I believe our reliance upon solar and wind power is the way to go. It would be good to deter global warming and help national security as well as our economy. I have long said that solar energy is the ultimate answer to our energy needs. After all, the sun is the source of all of our energy.
