Deep Breathing

Pam Grout states: " . . . breathing is the single most important thing we ever do . . . Go without it for three minutes and you're dead." Most people don't get enough oxygen when taking a breath. That is because of light breathing from the upper chest, rather than from the abdomen. For the latter, sometimes called deep belly breathing, first exhale real hard by flattening your abdomen, then when you take in a breath you necessarily expand the lower abdomen. And your exhale should be longer than your inhale.
