Jan is back; computer fixed

Jan arrived back in KC at 2:30 this afternoon--from Egypt. She describes her trip as ROUGH. She was cold most of the time; got sick; was always short on money and water; her luggage was lost; and she arrived yesterday at Kennedy International when all outgoing flights had been cancelled. So she had to stay all night in NY . But despite all this, she says everyone should go to Egypt. She couldn't have made it without the companionship and help of our good friends and fellow travelers, the Klinkenbergs.

You wouldn't be getting this posting today if it weren't for a conscientious hard-working technician for Hewlett-Packard someplace in India, who, after much effort and literally taking control of my computer, fixed my internet connections. I tried all morning with Time-Warner. I spoke with about 6 technicians and was disconnected twice after long waits.
