Republicans v. Democrats

Is it best to have a president of a different party than that controlling Congress? My answer is Yes. But that doesn't mean I would vote for someone just to help that to happen. I intend to vote for president the best qualified, whether Republican or Democrat. I also think it is best when the same party rules in both the Senate and the House. Good government is based upon compromise and the two parties working together. I think this is best achieved when one party controls both houses and the other party has the presidency.
