Debt

According to Dennis Moore, Kansas U.S. Representative, the national debt as of today is $9,140,818,244,560.61, and your share is $30,260.85.

The total U.S. consumer debt is approximately 2 trillion dollars.
This translates into approximately $18,700 per famiy for credit card and car loan debt, but excluding mortgages.

And the economy seems to be based upon more spending.

Are we on the road to disaster? What do our candidates for public office have to say?
