HAVE FUN AT WHAT YOU ARE DOING is my 93rd Birthday suggestion for happiness. this deals with your state of mind; the cost is zero. It means more than having a postive attitude; it means sheer enjoyment. It requires a little imagination and creativeness, especially if you are ill or disabled or are doing something because you feel it is your duty.
Examples: In meeting with a large group, see how many you can greet by his/her first name. In driving to your Aunt Bertha's take a different, more scenic and leisurely, route. In preparing dinner tonight, fix a new dish. In taking your pills, imagine that each one is making you stronger.
For more fun in writing this Blog: I am sending $5 to each of the first ten people who send me an Email stating that they have read this Blog (only one per family). This offer expires November 22, 2007.

That's wonderful advice that I need to remind myself about. Complaining is easy to do, everyone seems to like doing it and it becomes habit forming.
Thanks for responding, Sylvia.
