That is the name of a special exhibit that opened at the Nelson-Atkins Museum last Friday. "Objects spanning 5,000 years of Chinese creativity (are) presented here for the first time to any public audience.. . . The objects echo, each in their own way common concerns fundamental to humankind past and present: 1. The mystery of existence, 2. fear of oblilvion at death, and 3. the nature of a society beneficial to its members." I found the diisplay most interesting.
There is a charge of $7 ($6 for those over 55), but it is free for members (who may bring up to two guests each). The exhibit runs from now to February.
